چکیده
A bstract . The function h (z ) = ~ (z l i z ) is t he ewton map associated with the quadratic polynomial z 2 +1. The iterated dynamics of f on 3{ is usually st udied by exploit ing the conjugacy between f and the funct ion z f-> z2 In this paper we show how to use the technique of nested intervals t o yield a direct ana lysis of t he dynamics. We also show how to use the same technique to analyze t he dynamics of t he funct ion h(z) = z l i z .

ON MULTIPHASE ALGORITHM FOR SINGLE VARIABLE EQUATION USING NEWTON'S CORRECTION METHOD
This paper brings to light a method based on Multiphase algorithm for single variable equation using Newton's correction. Newton's method is derived through the logarithmic differentiation of polynomial equation. A correction term which enhances the high speed of convergence is hereby introduced. A translation of Newton's method to Total Step and Single Step Methods (T. S. M and S. S. M) re...
متن کاملNumerical solution for the risk of transmission of some novel coronavirus (2019-nCov) models by the Newton-Taylor polynomial solutions
In this paper we consider two type of mathematical models for the novel coronavirus (2019-nCov), which are in the form of a nonlinear differential equations system. In the first model the contact rate, , and transition rate of symptomatic infected indeviduals to the quarantined infected class, , are constant. And in the second model these quantities are time dependent. These models are the...
متن کاملAnalysis of Indexing Schemes to Support Set Retrieval of Nested Objects
E cient retrieval of nested objects is an important issue in advanced database systems. So far, many indexing methods for nested objects are proposed. However, they do not consider retrieval of nested objects based on the set comparison operators such as and . In this paper, we propose four set access facilities for nested objects and compare their performance in terms of retrieval cost, storag...
متن کاملEecient Solution of the Jacobian System in Newton's Method Close to a Root
Newton's Method constitutes a nested iteration scheme with the Newton step as the outer iteration and a linear solver of the Jacobian system as the inner iteration. We examine the interaction between these two schemes and derive solution techniques for the linear system from the properties of the outer Newton iteration. Contrary to inexact Newton methods, our techniques do not rely on relaxed t...
متن کاملNewton-Product Integration for a Stefan Problem with Kinetics
Stefan problem with kinetics is reduced to a system of nonlinear Volterra integral equations of second kind and Newton's method is applied to linearize it. Product integration solution of the linear form is found and sufficient conditions for convergence of the numerical method are given. An example is provided to illustrated the applicability of the method.
